
At the end of August, the first tests of the navigation sensors and the recording of data sets were carried out in the DFKI’s diving pool in Bremen.
The BlueROV 2 from the Institute of Automatic Control was used as the test vehicle, which is equipped with sensors similar to those currently being developed for the nanoAUV.
The recorded data sets will now be used for the further development of the GNC system, which will form the basis for further tests based on the findings obtained.
